Tasks

The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely execution and delivery. This role involves preparing detailed plans, analyzing progress, and providing accurate forecasts to support decision-making for complex engineering projects. -Highlight risks and delays, and propose recovery plans. -Define work breakdown structures (WBS) and align schedules with project scope and deliverables. -Prepare baseline schedules and update progress regularly. -Interface with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather progress data. -Track project progress against baseline and identify variances. -Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, including S-curves and earned value analysis. -Perform schedule risk analysis and scenario planning. -Develop and maintain project schedules using planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project). -Support project management in client reporting and schedule presentations. -Provide input for resource planning and cost control integration.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline. -Analytical and problem-solving skills. -Strong understanding of project controls, WBS, and earned value management. -Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project. -Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. -Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. -Knowledge of FPSO or offshore project planning is an advantage. -Minimum 5+ years of planning experience in oil & gas, offshore, or large-scale EPC projects.
