Tasks

-Contribute to project deliverables including proposals, work plans, technical memos, and regulatory submissions. -Build strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and regulators by providing reliable and practical solutions. -Collaborate with project managers on planning, budgeting, scheduling, and client communications. -Conduct data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support environmental site assessments and prepare technical reports. -Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements on all projects. -Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff during field programs and report preparation. -Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and field teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. -Lead and support field programs related to site assessment (i.e., Phase I, II, and III ESAs), monitoring, remediation, and reclamation at a variety of sites (oil and gas, industrial, commercial, and government).

What You Bring

-Ability to work independently and as part of a small team, including in remote locations and under variable site conditions. -Solid understanding and practical application of health and safety requirements related to oil and gas facilities, construction sites, subsurface investigations, and contaminated sites. -Degree or technical diploma in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related discipline. -Professional designation or eligibility for registration with a recognized professional organization (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., E.I.T., G.I.T., P.Tech., C.E.T.) preferred. -Minimum of 4 years’experience in contaminated sites work, including leading Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, soil and groundwater sampling, and remediation programs. -Passion for fieldwork, with the flexibility to travel and work away from home. -Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites and client locations. -Experience with various contaminants of concern including hydrocarbons, salinity, and/or sampling for PFAS is a significant asset.
