Tasks

-Development of site design projects from concept development through construction documentation -Participate in design workshops, public facilitation, and concept development. -Collaborating with others on public input sessions, programming, and design implementation of master plans -Collaborating with architects, planners, engineers and other site-based disciplines on institutionally scaled design and planning projects -Creating diagrams and illustrative analysis and concept drawings using 3D and 2D digital illustration tools, free-hand drawing and color rendering

What You Bring

-Desire to work in landscape architecture/urban design environment upon graduation -Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate degree in landscape architecture major in an accredited university program -Technical skills should include proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D modeling / rendering programs (such as Rhino, VRay, Sketchup, Enscape, and/or Lumion) and Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and Illustrator) -ArcGIS, Grasshopper and/or Revit knowledge are desirable but not essential -Understanding of the fundamentals of the full range of design phases including site analysis, site planning, grading and drainage, conceptual development, construction documentation -Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program -Attention to detail -A minimum of 2.9 GPA -Interested candidates should respond with a resume and portfolio of recent studio work (via web-based link) -Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills -A minimum of 4 semesters completed in major -Basic Microsoft Office skills
