Tasks

-Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring compliance with company standards and health & safety requirements -Collaborating closely with site managers, as well as the commercial and design teams, to ensure project timelines are met -Ensuring timely delivery of goods and services to support efficient site operations -Assisting in the preparation of and issuing tender documents, analysing quotations, and negotiating favourable terms -Identifying cost-saving opportunities and supporting value engineering initiatives -Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality and value -Procuring materials and subcontractor services for residential developments -Maintaining accurate records, managing budgets, and forecasting material requirements

What You Bring

-Proven experience in a procurement or buying role in construction, ideally within housebuilding -Collaborative team player, confident working across Lindum Divisions to support shared goals and the wider needs of the business -Proficient in analysing costs, comparing quotations, and securing value for money -Knowledge of construction materials and building regulations -Commercially aware with a focus on delivering value through strong negotiation skills -Highly organised with excellent attention to detail -Self-motivated, proactive, and dependable under pressure -Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams
