Junior Accountant

Overview

Support day-to-day accounting, including AP, reconciliations, and month‑end tasks.

Tasks

-Maintains records and files in accordance with established filing system -Assist AP team with month end closing tasks and journal entries -Ensures that transactions are correctly coded and verifies their compliance with financial procedures -Upholds confidentiality at all times -Maintains relationships with vendors and suppliers -Reviews general ledger accounts to the corresponding subsidiary ledger, income and expense accounts, and monthly entries for accurate coding and correct ledger amount -Processes accurate and timely vendor payments

What You Bring

-Must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication, problem-solving skills, and strong quantitative and analytical competency. -Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously -Must be able to sit at a desk and type for eight hours per day and talk to employees in person and by telephone frequently throughout the day -Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent preferred -Must have strong written, verbal, and quantitative skills and be comfortable working in Excel,
