Manage purchase orders, vendor relations, and supply chain cost for assigned goods.

Tasks

Reconcile product receipts and invoices to ensure proper payment within mutually agreed payment terms Optimizes the use of company assets in the acquisition of assigned goods and services. Execution of short and long-term strategies to ensure quality, continuity, and timeliness of supply while minimizing total product and supply chain cost. Provide support for sourcing team by issuing and receiving RFQs from vendors, including uploading vendor pricing into Woodgrain software. o Continually monitor progress of orders with assigned vendors, updating expected ship dates and receipt dates o Submit purchase orders to vendors and confirm accurate acknowledgements of products, pricing, and quantities o Act as initial contact for any vendor needs, to include working with vendors and marketing to supply proper packaging and labelling specs. Procure appropriate product needs, upon request, to support select branch, regional and corporate product strategies. o Follow-up as needed with various stakeholders, to include distribution centers, National Accounts, Credit, and Accounts Payable Expedite product when necessary to meet required delivery commitments o Accurately create purchase orders and associated internal transfers or direct sales orders in ERP system as directed.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. REASONING ABILITY Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
