Tasks

-Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes. -Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. -Setting quality assurance standards in design. -Grow, develop and manage ICA engineering capability within the practice. -Defining briefs, scopes of work, and to contribute and lead bid proposals. -Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.

What You Bring

-Expert knowledge on current UK design standards, working practices and national guidance. -Comprehensive knowledge in ICA design (instrumentation, PLC and SCADA systems), motor control systems, system architecture, fieldbus/communication networks, P&ID’s, ATEX installation practice, functional safety, development of control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules and system requirements within process/industrial environment. -A winning work mentality to drive and expand AtkinsRéalis' client portfolio. -Extensive water industry experience. -Proven as a strong technical leader in the multidisciplinary delivery. -Chartered or Fellow Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer. -Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
