Tasks

-Will work closely with other IT professionals to identify areas of opportunity to continually improve our overall security posture -Generate Security Metrics that will help Senior Management understand the effectiveness/gaps in the security infra/incident management process -Create Supporting documentation that enabled governance over all aspects of Incident management -Responsible for leading Cyber Security intelligence team operations which primarily focus on Security incident monitoring/analysis/reporting/mitigation/intelligence generation from the available logs/correlations -Ensure the timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and their teams -Work closely with professionals spanning application development, infrastructure, cyber security, and networking to identify opportunities to accelerate our journey to the cloud -Responsible for managing security infra–availability/upgrades/capacity management, etc. -Ensure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and procedures -Own and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and procedures

The Manager Technology (IT) requires an in-depth understanding of technology concepts, theories, and principles and basic knowledge of other related disciplines. The Manager Technology (IT) must be able to apply an understanding of the industry to improve effectiveness, provide guidance, and influence processes and policies for the technology discipline as well as identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems that impact effectiveness. The Manager Technology (IT) impacts the level of service and the technology team’s ability to meet quality and timeliness objectives. Decisions made by the Manager of Technology (IT) should be guided by policies, resource requirements, budgets, and the business plan. -8+ years of work experience with heavy infrastructure and implementations; Work experience can be waived with higher than minimum Degree requirement -Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience -Experienced in implementing infrastructure cloud solutions on Azure, O365, and AWS -Experience leading a global team -Experienced in managing a technical team -Able to identify opportunities to improve the overall service delivery, quality, and adoption of a modern communication corporate solution -Prefer relevant strategic business process certifications (APICS, Finance, ITIL, CISSP, CCNA, PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma) -Bring a well-rounded skillset capable of spanning business and technical disciplines and be comfortable working with others to shape ideas into fully assessed, designed, and implemented cloud solutions -Experienced in the design and tactical implementations -Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
