Tasks

-Perform topographic surveys of small sites to large farm surveys with ATV’s -Conduct Construction Layout for site development, commercial/ retail, residential, industrial/ warehouse, subdivisions, municipal and transportation -Communicates with their supervisor or project manager on a consistent, daily basis -Mentors staff, participates in training, and prioritizes Farnsworth’s Safety Culture -Perform ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys in accordance with the current ALTA/ NSPS Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys -Perform As-Built Pipeline Surveys -Perform 3D Scanning, UAV and drone surveys

What You Bring

-DOT experience -PLSS monumentation retracement experience -LSIT or PLS license a plus -Ability to travel 80% required in this position -FAA 107 license -Strong math skills -Ability to organize field notes -Experience performing Boundary Research, preferred -Ability to read construction plans -Ability to work independently as well as part of a Team setting -Oil & Gas Pipeline experience -UAV license -Proficiency with Trimble GPS, Total Station and Data Collectors -Ability to execute field staking -Ability to regularly lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/ or move up to 100 pounds -Ability to work outside in a wide variety of weather and terrain conditions -High school diploma or equivalent -Valid driver's license and be insurable under company insurance -5+ years of property surveys, including ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, and Construction Layout
