Tasks

-Reviewing and interpreting work plans. Understanding and applying specifications. -Track supply quantities and take field measurements for billing and budgeting purposes. -Coordinating with and managing subcontractors. -Setting up project estimates, input job data into estimating software. -Planning, performing and reviewing quality take-offs. -Communication and documentation of project progress.

Project managers and other members of the project team become mentors as Interns assist in all aspects of the construction project, learning and developing the key roles and functions required to build the work. -Proficient Microsoft Office skills. -Pursuing a construction management or civil engineering degree. Must be at least a sophomore in the program. -Good organizational and time management skills. -Willing and able to travel / temporarily relocate for the duration of the internship. -Previous experience working in construction or farming a plus. -Demonstrate initiative, strong work ethic and leadership ability. -Good public relations and communication skills.

WAGE: $24 HR (DOE) + Per Diem (Situation/Location Depending) - Those applicants deemed to be in the top 50 will be invited to our intern day. We will be having those applicants travel (with company assistance) to our campus in Orem, UT (Headquarters) for a day. During the day, interns will be broken into teams to compete on a construction problem. They will have lunch with our interns from last summer (intern panel) and have the chance to ask them anything. Interns will also have the chance to do a round of interviews with WW Clyde Project Managers and Estimators. We've found this day to be a great experience for both parties and we look forward to hosting it! At the completion of Intern Day, WWC will begin sending offers to the interns!
