The Role

Overview

Assist plasma table operations, monitor machine, inspect products, maintain safety.

Tasks

-Uses forklifts to load and carry material. -Measures and keeps usable drop material and records thickness, grade, and dimensions. to help keep track of inventory. -Responsible for the safety and housekeeping of their area. -Helps monitor the machine during use to address any problems and adjusts as needed. -Performs daily inspections as instructed by the Plasma Operator using quality checkpoints before and after use, along with weekly and monthly preventative maintenance. -Alerts the Operator of any concerns or problems with the machine. -Helps get the table ready for production. -Helps to inspect the finished product to ensure specifications have been met. This includes grade, thickness, and size, as well as other key measurements. -Assures their assignments are completed on time.

What You Bring

-Experience operating a Plasma Table -Must be able to perform simple grasping, push, pull, perform fine manipulation, and feel for 6+ hours per shift -Knowledgeable in TFI/OSHA Safety Requirements -Must be able to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environments -Must be able to work in crowded spaces for 4+ hours per shift -Experience working in a manufacturing setting -Must be able to bend and crawl for 4+ hours per shift -Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for 6+ hours per shift -High level of accuracy and attention to detail -Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, 4+ hours per shift -Must be able to crouch, kneel, and stoop for 4+ hours per shift -Must be able to climb ladders for 4+ hours per shift -Must be able to operate foot pedals for 4+ hours per shift -HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution -Must be able to make fine distinctions in sound, express, and exchange written or spoken words, and distinguish objects and equipment visually
