Tasks

-Managing projects, including design tasks and coordination of work with engineering staff. -Senior Structural Engineer on projects, including reviewing designs and plans. -Conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of new bridges and rehabilitation utilizing prestressed concrete, reinforced concrete, structural steel, and timber components. -Providing specialized technical input on transportation-related projects.

What You Bring

-Experience in preparation of technical specifications and design documents, report writing, technical engineering support, and limited inspection during construction. -A current PE license in the State of CO. -BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education -Knowledgeable of other standard engineering practices, techniques, and applicable Codes, such as AREMA, AASHTO, PCI, etc. -Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools and software). -Master's degree in structural engineering. -Project management skills. -Knowledge of current structural modeling software tools such as Open Bridge Designer, CSI, Midas, etc. -Proficient in the use of computer software for the analysis and design of complex structures with an additional focus on 3D bridge modelling workflows. -Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including technical report writing.

Benefits

-Sponsorship is not offered for this position now or in the future. -Offered rate of compensation for Denver, CO. (and greater Colorado) will be based on the individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $180,000.00
