The Role
Overview
Ensures accurate certified payroll processing and compliance with prevailing wage laws

Tasks
-Research, interpret, and enforce various sources of regulatory documentation pertaining to labor issues. -Assist with daily mail distribution. -Input certified payroll records into client/awarding body labor compliance tracking software. -Review wage determination. -Keep current with changes in prevailing wage requirements. -Ensure accurate processing, recording, and reporting of the certified payroll records in compliance with multi-state prevailing wage requirements, federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts. -Monitor and review all certified payroll compliance documentation for all subcontractors performing on projects. -Establish and maintain consistent communication with internal customers. -Provide support for other payroll functions, as needed. -Identity theft monitoring -Prepare and submit WH347, state prevailing certified payroll forms as required per contract. -Maintain & resolve labor compliance discrepancies to avoid costly penalties in a timely and efficient manner. -Serves as subject matter expert on all certified payroll reporting matters. -Handle the filing and processing of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wage/Affidavit of Wages Paid.

What You Bring
-Experience with LCP Tracker, Elations, Emars, or other labor compliance software a plus -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Understanding of State and Federal prevailing wage requirements a plus -Strong Excel knowledge -Ability to explain complex subjects in simplified terms -4 Year Degree preferred or equivalent work experience -Proactive to solving problems/critical thinker -High school diploma required -1 – 2 years of general payroll experience -Ability to work in a flexible environment where requirements and procedures continuously evolve -Understand union fringes and calculations.
