Overview

Conduct wetland and habitat assessments, field surveys, and prepare technical reports.

Tasks

-Deliver technical excellence that drives client trust and sustainable outcomes. -Assist with wetland delineations and protected species habitat assessments using GPS and mapping tools. -Contribute to environmental impact assessments that shape renewable energy, oil & gas, power, and technology projects. -Conduct field surveys, sampling, and inspections; collect and organize environmental data. -Travel to project sites and work within defined safety, budget, and schedule parameters. -Support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring projects meet environmental standards. -Prepare technical reports, compliance documentation, and permit applications. -Collaborate with ERM Project Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality, on-time results. -Help safeguard wetlands and protected species through field studies and data-driven insights. -Support environmental due diligence, Phase I site assessments, and impact studies for infrastructure projects.

What You Bring

-Strong commitment to safety and ability to work outdoors in varied conditions. -Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, natural resources, or related field. Or equivalent experience. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail. -Experience with wetland delineations and habitat assessments. -Knowledge of environmental permitting processes and regulatory agencies (e.g., USACE, USFWS). -This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. -Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office; valid driver’s license; ability to pass background and drug screening. -0–2 years of relevant experience or internships in environmental consulting or fieldwork. -Familiarity with GPS technologies and GIS software. -Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and eagerness to learn. -Technical report writing and data management skills.
