Tasks

-Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. -Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation. -Support a variety of engineering tasks with the goal to develop technical, social, and ethical skills. -Complete training on assigned tasks. -Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis. -Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.

What You Bring

-Actively enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering, or related, Masters or PhD program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026 or later. -Actively enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering, or related, Undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026 or later. -Experience using AutoCAD or Revit. -Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience. -Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools. -Can lift a minimum of 45 lbs. -Demonstrated interest in electrical engineering, or related field, and have a strong desire to advance skills related to WSP’s work and projects. -Please note that due to client requirements, US citizenship is required. -Must be 18 or older. -Ability to wear personal protective equipment including arc flash rated clothing, face shield, hard hat, gloves, and steel toe boots for extended periods of time. -Familiar and comfortable operating basic hand tools. -Available for travel up to 25% of the time. -Prior internship and leadership involvement on campus -Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. -Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to executive projects. -Learn basic principles of Electrical Power Engineering.
