Tasks

-Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards. -Support cost control and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle. -Management of subcontractor accounts, including procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts. -Liaison with project teams to ensure alignment on scope, progress, and commercial matters. -Accurate measurement and valuation of mechanical works.

What You Bring

-Primarily site-based in Hull to begin with - candidate must embed into the project and team. -Full mechanical quantity surveying across the entire scope of the project, not limited to smaller packages. -Proven ability to manage and measure full mechanical scopes, not just isolated packages. -Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. -Strong experience working with subcontractors, including negotiation and commercial management. -Mechanical background essential - ideally with hands-on understanding of mechanical systems in industrial environments. -Highly regulated sector experience required - such as life sciences, oil & gas, or petrochemical projects. -Must be proactive, resilient, and self-driven - someone who takes ownership and thrives in fast-paced environments.
