The Role

Overview

Coordinate customer orders, schedule deliveries and manage dispatch operations.

Tasks

-Produce daily reports on dispatch metrics. -Process customs clearance -Operating on site weighbridge -Co-ordinate orders to be dispatched and organise picking lists for yard operatives accordingly. -Maintain haulage rates (including LSS & FSC Charges) using Breedon internal systems -Schedule deliveries for UK, NI & ROI hauliers. -Resolve customer queries regarding deliveries -To comply with the Company Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. -Dealing with customer sales in person and on the phone. -Process third party shipments (Couriering goods, Parcelforce) -Check payments to hauliers

What You Bring

-Understand lorry capacity and manage balance orders -At least 2 years experience in a busy dispatch role -Experience within a manufacturing or construction environment would be desirable -Previous experience working with a computerised order processing and dispatch system would be desirable -Experience in using MS Word, Excel and Outlook
