Tasks

-Support Bird Construction's Projects team -Ensure project deliverables and information meet Digital Construction Department requirements -Assist in the development of hardware and software standards, standards for modeling, and maintaining an element library when required -Manage the spatial coordination process by holding recurring collaboration meetings with project teams -Keep record of the issue resolution process and coordination meetings -Provide support for laser scanning and model-based field layout -Support the use of mobile technology and other Digital Construction applications in the field -Support preconstruction activities -Provide a communication link between design and construction teams -Review and analyze coordination models for spatial coordination and quality control

-Ability to lead and operate within an environment where change happens frequently -All applications must include a current transcript -Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude -Have a passion for applying Digital Construction to improve productivity in design and construction, and encourage creativity and innovation. -Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships -Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills -Residency, or a valid work permit which would allow you to work for Bird Construction or one of our wholly owned subsidiaries -Sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals -You are currently enrolled in an Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent program -You will complete at least one more semester of education following your internship and possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher -If you are selected for a role with client specific requirements, you may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment Medical and/or Alcohol & Drug testing.
