Tasks
-Identify problem accounts and provide regular updates of receivables to manager. -Daily customer credit card processing. -Monitors credit hold and customers line of credit. -Communicate and follow up effectively and timely with customers regarding accounts. -Resolve discrepancies and short pays. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the financial integrity of accounts receivable accounts. -Research and respond to all accounts receivable inquiries in a prompt manner. -Research and resolve transactions in the unapplied account. -Responsible for month end close process around Accounts Receivable processed. -Preparation of monthly reports on conditions of A/R department. -Provide customer service regarding collection issues, prepare customer refund and account adjustment requests. -Improves receivable turnover through efficient collection follow-up, while maintaining and promoting favorable customer relations. Analyzes paying practices of customers and recommends action on delinquent accounts. -Works with dispatchers and sales representatives to handle customer requests. -Collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast-paced goal-oriented accounting department. -Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers and sales.

What You Bring
-Accuracy in data entry and data research with 10-key operation experience. -Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts. -Knowledge of basic accounting math. -Results driven, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. -Strong ability and skill to follow-up, attention to detail, and organization. -Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute for education requirements. -Excellent organizational and time management skills. -Previous accounting experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills. -High degree of comfort with technology and multiple applications. -Able to identify, define and resolve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. -Intermediate to advanced Excel Skills and proficient with MS office.
