Perform OSP field surveys, take notes, and support telecom construction design.

Tasks

-Work schedule to match hours of our customer and meet deadlines -Interact with internal and external customers- represent Byers and our client in a professional manner -Take legible field notes for the design of construction drawings in aerial, buried, underground, and building applications -Analyze work site and design requests then determine scope of work to be completed -Deliver projects within timeline and ensure quality of work completed -Dress appropriately and meet safety standards while on-site -OSP Fielder will complete site visits within given market -Adhere to all company safety practices and policies -Pay attention to detail and communicate any concerns or updates with the OSP Designer

What You Bring

-High school diploma and completed courses from technical school or community college preferred, but not required -Qualify on pre-employment screening, including non-negligent driving record -Excellent communication for daily interaction with various teams -Above average penmanship for hand-drawn field notes -Relevant experience with utilities, cabling, or construction also considered -Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required -Knowledge of computer programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Dropbox) -Understanding of Telecom, Fiber, and Outside Plant required -Must be authorized to work in the U.S. -Willing to be trained and adapt to changing industry trends- continue education for Engineering design and best practices
