The Role
Overview
Oversee and support multiple industrial construction projects from planning to execution.

Tasks
-Manage document control processes including logging and tracking new issue drawings and contract documents. -Recommend improvements to project operations including staffing, methods, and procedures. -Inspect field conditions to identify problems, inaccuracies, and potential cost-saving measures. -Promote and enforce company environmental health and safety programs at the project level. -Foster a safety-oriented culture across all project activities. -Review new issue drawings for changes in conditions; quantify impacts and communicate with supervisor. -Distribute updated documents to field teams and ensure proper implementation. -Collaborate with project management personnel to gather input and ensure schedule accuracy. -Develop and maintain the project master schedule using appropriate techniques and scheduling software. -Support and manage the project team, including direct reports and cross-functional personnel. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Develop a complete understanding of contract plans and specifications. -Develop quarterly cash flow projections to support financial planning. -Prepare monthly cost projections using data from project management systems. -Serve as managing project engineer/coordinator across multiple projects. -Take corrective actions as needed to resolve field issues. -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Review subordinates’ work for compliance with contract documents; address deficiencies and implement corrective measures. -Provide supervision and on-the-job training for junior engineers and project staff.

-Working knowledge of project controls terminology and scheduling practices. -Team player with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. -Strong organizational and time management abilities. -Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook. -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Regular, reliable attendance -8+ years of Field Engineering, or project engineering/management experience in construction and engineering roles. Proven experience managing engineers and project teams. -Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or equivalent years of experience. -Ability to read, analyze, and identify discrepancies in engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents. -Strong work ethic and commitment to doing the job right the first time. -Demonstrated integrity and ethical decision-making.
