Design and model water resource projects, focusing on hydraulics, flood control, and restoration.

Tasks

-Work under project engineers on the application of various design engineering and modeling techniques in the development of water resource projects for federal, state and local municipalities -Focus on hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection, assimilation, and presentations -Focus on projects including flood control, river design, stream grade control structures, dike systems, levees, stream channel restoration/rehabilitation, wetland and lake restoration, watershed issues and nonpoint source loading and point source design. -Produce design calculations, draft technical reports and perform water resources studies

What You Bring

-Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression -Local candidates preferred
