Tasks
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in fabricating, assembling, and installing piping and equipment for hydronic heating, cooling, and condenser water systems. Oversee multiple projects. Determine the appropriate material and manpower requirements to ensure a good rate of production and efficiency. -Enforce ensure company policies and safety regulations are adhered to -Study schedules and estimates man-hour requirements for completion of job -Evaluate Foreman and workers abilities and use expertise to ensure the most productive job placement on a day to day basis -Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel -Differentiate between contract work and work that would be considered in addition to the contract -Review and ensure accurate time records -Coordinate all aspects of projects by leading teams of Pipe Fitters and Helpers -Consult with foreman and department manager regarding input on hiring dismissing workers -Writes report documenting the problem and summary of actions taken -Interpret drawings and specifications and relay information to Foreman and work crew to produce finished product. -Assemble procurement orders for materials, equipment and tools required at each project commencement -Utilize experience to help guide Foreman ensuring safe work practices and rate of productivity are kept -Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes -Coordinate with job with other trades to avoid conflicts -Interprets submittals and job orders as needed for project -Ensure that proper work quality is achieved and instill pride in subordinates for work quality -Attend job meetings -Supervision of hydronic piping and equipment connections -Coordinate with department manager for manpower, tools, rental equipment, material deliveries, ensuring that all items are processed for a timely delivery to the jobsite -Communicate with Foreman and work crew on what is expected of them and ensure that instructions are understood

What You Bring
This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear. Our selection will be driven by the skills / qualifications above as well as the ability to develop relationships with clients and co-workers to maximize your professional opportunities. -Minimum 8 years of field experience -Works skillfully with tools, metals and machines -Understand shop math -Knowledge of Hydronic Systems, Cooling and Heating -Strong leadership skills -Reliable transportation required -Understand English and follow and provide directives to assigned helpers -OSHA 30 -Minimum 4 years experience in a Foreman trade level role
