Tasks
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructure that supports both enterprise IT systems and specialised engineering platforms. You will ensure the seamless integration of engineering applications and industrial control systems within a secure, high-performance network environment. -Supporting disaster recovery planning and implement redundancy and failover solutions. -Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting connectivity, latency, and configuration issues. -Maintaining documentation for network architecture, configurations, and change management. -Collaborating with engineering and IT teams to ensure system compatibility and operational efficiency. -Conducting regular system upgrades, firmware updates, and patching to ensure reliability and compliance. -Integrating specialised engineering platforms (e.g. CAD, SCADA, PLCs) into the broader network environment. -Designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network infrastructure to support engineering systems and enterprise IT. -Participating in audits, risk assessments, and network vulnerability testing. -Managing firewalls, VPNs, and other security protocols to protect sensitive engineering data. -Assisting in evaluating and deploying new technologies to improve network performance and security. -Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and internal governance policies.

What You Bring
You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance. -Excellent documentation and communication skills. -Proven experience in designing and managing enterprise network infrastructure. -Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent (preferred). -Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. -Hands on experience with engineering systems integration (e.g. SCADA, PLCs). -Valid driver's licence.
