Senior Project Engineer

Description

A Senior Project Engineer is needed to lead engineering projects from concept through completion, focusing on on-time, on-budget delivery and strong cross-functional coordination. This role manages both new product development and sustaining programs, serving as the primary contact for internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Perform product design (CAD) and assist with validation/qualification testing.
• Coordinate product development, qualification, and cross-functional activities.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, plans, and progress reports.
• Lead and manage engineering projects through all phases.
• Serve as main point of contact for customers and stakeholders.
• Support technical proposals and facilitate meetings and communications.
• Contribute to process and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management or customer-facing experience in Aerospace, Defense, or Medical manufacturing.
• 2+ years of design experience with electro-mechanical or fluid-control products.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Strong communication skills, business acumen, and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• PMP certification.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
