Tasks
-Design of electronic circuits using suitable components, systems and equipment. -Analyze product requirements and create a detailed hardware architecture and formal structured design. -Perform simulations to validate design choices. -Ensure work is performed in compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and company procedures. -Design auxiliary tools, prototypes and test interfaces. -Prepare product operational documentation to support software development. -Conduct circuit analysis from requirements to formal design.

What You Bring
Mircom is seeking talented, independent individuals that have previous experience in analog, digital and mixed signal circuit design. The ideal candidate is expected to demonstrate knowledge on a broad range of systems and circuits, including: Power supplies, small signal and power amplifiers, signal processing, microcontroller based systems, FPGA based digital systems, serial communications channels, ADC/DAC converters, EMI/EMC filtering and protection. This is a full time permanent role based out of our Head Office in Vaughan, ON. -Microprocessors and microcontrollers. -Circuit debugging and troubleshooting. -Serial Communication (UART, SPI, I2C, USB, I2S, Ethernet). -Audio Power Amplifiers. -VHDL programming -Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PHD Degree in Electrical Engineering -C programming experience -Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills to support work in a team environment. -Schematic Drawing. -Analog, Digital and Mixed Signal Circuits Analysis and Design experience. -FPGA Design. -A/D and D/A Converters. -DFT and DFM techniques -Ability to manage time effectively to meet schedule commitments. -Hands-on PCB Layout knowledge -DC/DC Power Converters. -Experience with Altium Designer, Matlab and PSPICE -Analog circuit simulation
