Planner

Description

As a key contributor across the full project lifecycle, this role is responsible for planning, developing detailed project programmes, and monitoring performance to ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes—on time and within budget. You’ll work in alignment with established project procedures to drive excellence and efficiency from initiation through to completion

• Monitoring site progress, updating resource allocations, and ensuring accurate quantity tracking.
• Collaborating closely with site teams to ensure real-time data reflects actual construction activity.
• Supporting risk identification and mitigation, and promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
• Establishing and maintaining project controls, reporting frameworks, and compliance processes.
• Developing and reviewing construction planning strategies across all phases.
• Interfacing with stakeholders including clients, consultants, subcontractors, and delivery teams.

Requirements

• Ability to manage reporting, compliance, and risk processes.
• Proven experience in project planning, controls, and reporting across complex construction projects.
• Skilled in using BIM and other digital engineering packages.
• Proactive approach to safety, compliance, and team collaboration.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Experience in planning and project controls within construction.
• Undergraduate or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls).
• Skilled in resource allocation, progress tracking, and variation assessments.
• Strong working knowledge of planning software and digital engineering tools.
• Proficient in 4D Modelling for visualising construction sequences.
• Experienced in conducting Schedule Risk Analysis to identify and mitigate delays.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
