Overview
Commercial pipe welder assembles, welds, and installs piping systems per blueprints.

Tasks
-Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in regular safety meetings and training. -Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and supervisors to complete projects on schedule. -Weld and assemble piping systems according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications. -Conduct quality checks to ensure welds meet safety and industry standards. -Perform pipe welding tasks using techniques such as TIG, MIG, and stick welding. -Inspect and maintain welding tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality.

What You Bring
-Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. -Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. -Comfortable working in commercial and industrial environments to include confined spaces, elevated areas, and varying weather conditions. -Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted. -Ability to accurately interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols. -5+ years of verifiable experience as a Pipe Welder is required. -Must be able to produce or immediately obtain a 6G Weld Certification upon hire. AWS or ASME welding certifications are preferred. -Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb. -Experience welding a variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys is required.
