Tasks

-Performing basic wiring tasks, including installing disconnects, whips, branch circuits, breakers, and other electrical accessories, ensuring proper connections and functionality. -Effectively communicating with customers to explain electrical problems, present repair or replacement options, and provide clear recommendations based on their needs. -Handling physical demands of the job, such as pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces, and lifting heavy objects safely. -Performing residential service work by diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical systems, identifying issues, and executing repairs to restore functionality. -Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. -Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work. -Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers, to ensure reliable operation. -Applying knowledge of electrical codes and regulations to ensure all work is compliant with local, state, and national standards, and to maintain safety on the job site.

What You Bring

-Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally -The physical ability to lift to 50 lbs. as required by the job -The work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow. -Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch. -Adaptability, flexibility, and creativity as a collaborative team player. -Over 2 years of electrical experience, preferably with a focus on residential projects. -Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills to address and resolve electrical issues. -Reliable, Year-Round Work -Utilizing a thorough knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials commonly used in the electrical trade, including their proper handling and maintenance. -A valid driver’s license with a least 3 years of driving experience -Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. -Excellent customer service skills and the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all organizational levels. -Ability to drive. -Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces.
