Tasks

Ensure all projects comply with local codes, industry standards, and environmental regulations. Review and interpret multi-disciplinary design and construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, M&E). Develop and implement robust project controls, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and cost control strategies. As a Project Management and Construction Director, you will be responsible for the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial conception through to final commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and sustainability. The successful candidate will have proven track records in delivering both Greenfield + Brownfield projects from inception to completion across APAC, LEED accredited professional highly preferable. Lead the development and execution of master programs, project charters, and budgets for greenfield and brownfield data centre projects across the region. Oversee the entire project lifecycle (design, procurement, construction, commissioning), ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Build, lead, and mentor high-performing, cross-functional project teams. Prepare and manage project capital funding, cash flow, and expenditures, ensuring strict adherence to approved budgets. Foster strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Energy & Sustainability, and Operations teams. Lead the tender and contract administration processes. Champion a culture of "Zero Harm," ensuring full compliance with all Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements on-site. Drive the integration of sustainable design principles and oversee the pursuit of relevant certifications (e.g., LEED, Green Mark). Translate business requirements into clear, actionable project plans and deliverables. Source, manage, and collaborate with a network of specialist consultants, contractors, and subject matter experts.

What You Bring

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk management. Possess deep knowledge of critical M&E systems (e.g., UPS, Generators, Chillers, Cooling Towers) and their testing & commissioning protocols (FAT, SAT, IST). Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with precise attention to detail. LEED Accredited Professional or similar sustainability certification is highly desirable. Strong financial acumen with expertise in project cost control and management. Leadership: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, motivate, and develop teams. PMP, P.E., or other relevant professional credentials. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. Deep familiarity with data centre critical systems, risk redundancy configurations, and commissioning processes. Mobility: Willingness and ability to undertake regional travel and extended stays as required for project development. 10+ years of progressive experience in project management and construction, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex data centre projects from inception to completion.
