The Role

Overview

Lead and oversee multiple commercial plumbing projects, managing crews and safety.

Tasks

-Schedule manpower, tools, and materials to meet project deadlines. -Oversee and enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards on job sites. -Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure work meets or exceeds quality standards. -Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and safety standards. -Report progress, delays, and field issues directly to the Plumbing Superintendent. -Assist with project planning, layout, and execution of plumbing scope. -Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to maintain workflow. -Interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems. -Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. -Supervise and coordinate daily activities of plumbing crews across multiple job sites. -Mentor and train apprentices and journeyman plumbers.

What You Bring

-Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and plumbing diagrams. -High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications a plus. -Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. -OSHA 30 Certification preferred. -Minimum of 8 years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or foreman capacity. -Strong organizational and time-management skills. -Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance. -Proven experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously for a large-scale contractor. -Excellent communication and team leadership abilities. -Deep knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques. -Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity under pressure.
