Lead design and management of airport terminals, new and renovation projects in Nashville.

Tasks

-Engage with clients and stakeholders to provide technical guidance and project updates. -Oversee preparation of design presentations, renderings, and construction documents. -Develop design concepts that align with client goals, project budgets, and regulatory requirements. -Participate in site assessments, construction administration, and quality reviews. -Manage and mentor junior architects and designers. -Ensure design compliance with FAA, TSA, and ADA standards as applicable. -Lead and manage the planning and architectural design for airport terminals and aviation-related facilities from concept through construction. -Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, MEP, civil, and specialty consultants.

What You Bring

-Registered Architect (RA) required -Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and related design software. -Superior knowledge of FAA Airport Circulars, FAA funding guidelines, and airport design and construction administration processes. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. -Proven experience in both new construction and renovation of terminal or concourse facilities. -10+ years of professional architectural experience, with a strong emphasis on aviation/airport terminal design. -LEED accreditation or sustainability design experience desirable. -Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills. -Strong understanding of building codes, airport design standards, and project delivery methods. -Experience with airside/landside planning, passenger flow, and terminal modernization projects.
