Tasks

Install electrical distribution and automation equipment: switchgear, panels, transformers, PLC control cabinets and VFD’s The electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems in commercial, industrial and healthcare facilities. Directly work with other electricians and helpers as part of a team Accurately install wire, conduit, panel boards, fixtures, devices, pre-fab assemblies, boxes, and breakers according to job specifications and NEC Bend conduit by hand and with benders While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb; lifts and carry up to 60 lbs, crawl, kneel, push and reach; use hands to fingers, handle, and feel.

What You Bring

Requires the ability to read and understand instructions, procedures, labels, and gauges Accurately perform basic math calculations to include addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals, multiplication, division, and the use of measurements High School Diploma or equivalent is required, but a technical degree or 1-3 years of experience or combination of education and/or experience is preferred Requires self-motivation, organization, and prioritization management Proficient knowledge of OSHA standards and guidelines Proficient with circuitry of the trade to include power, control, and motor terminations Ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal and nonverbal) Capable of digging trenches, either by use of hand tools or power equipment
