Tasks

-Own and lead 5S process and discipline for assigned warehouse area. -Ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eaton's quality guidelines as they move throughout the production process. Perform quality checks as instructed. * Create/Update MO Manufacturing Orders for fabrication item numbers and act on exception messages as instructed. -Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (stand-up and sit-down), order picker, automatic pallet wrapper and pallet jack. -Perform inventory counts of fabricated material. -As needed, receive, and process incoming raw material and ensure inventory process is followed correctly. -Load fabrication production plan into machine software and act on exception messages as instructed. -Complete inventory transactions and ensure accuracy. -Perform Lean Initiatives by recommending suggestions for improvement related to quality, work processes, and environmental safety and health. -Comply with all safety and industrial hygiene requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner. Understand and meet all departmental safety objectives and goals. -Locate fabricated material into rack / cart / GO locations. -Receive and process material kitting orders in a timely manner to execute production schedules.

-No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Eaton El Paso, TX facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation -Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within team environment. -One or more years of forklift operation experience preferred. -Computer literate. -18 months of manufacturing, distribution, or military experience. -Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. -Two or more years of warehouse experience in an industrial environment. -Ability to physically operate a forklift with or without reasonable accommodation. -Knowledge of AS400, VISTA and MAPICS systems -Two years of forklift experience (Sit-down or Standup). -Knowledge of Lean and continuous process improvements -Ability to lift. push and pull up to twenty-five pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to squat and reach above the head with or without reasonable accommodation. -Experience working diligently with large data tables. Attention to detail. -Working knowledge of Lean Concepts. -Proficient with computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook, Vista, DMM, AS400, and Mapics.
