The Role

Overview

Create and modify CAD drawings for transportation infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Working closely with colleagues (and under the guidance of more advanced team members) to understand and ensure compliance of drafting standards. -Modifying and revising existing drawings based on feedback from engineers, project managers or other team members. -Utilizing CAD software to create and prepare technical drawings for our bridge, roadway and aviation projects that best represent project requirements from concept to -Preparing and exporting drawings and models in various formats for project submissions. -Organizing and managing a variety of CAD files, ensuring that drawings and models are accessible to other team members.

What You Bring

-Valid Driver’s License. -2-5 years of related experience. -Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is an asset. -Strong communication and organization skills. -An Engineering Design and Drafting Technology, Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent diploma from an accredited technical college.
