What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function. This is a hands-on role working closely with the leadership team to support the business as it continues to grow. -Established national structural engineering consultancy with strong industry reputation -A proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team -Accounting degree or diploma preferred -Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills -Experience within the Engineering, Construction or Architecture industries highly valued -Full function bookkeeping including AP, AR and payroll -Proficiency with accounting software. MYOB and excel proficiency are essential -Solid knowledge of accounting principles and Australian tax compliance -Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Senior Bookkeeper (professional services experience highly regarded) -Ideally experience in the engineering, construction or architecture industries would be highly valuable -BAS, IAS and superannuation preparation and lodgement
