The Role

Overview

Develop dashboards and software for RNG facility data management and analytics.

Tasks

-Develop and support automated production reports using various technologies and data sources, ensuring accurate delivery to internal stakeholders, external clients, and regulatory bodies such as the EPA. -Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed software and systems. -Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineers, Project managers, and Facility Operators, to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions. -Collect, store, and manage large datasets from various sources, ensuring data integrity and security. -Develop and maintain software applications tailored to the needs of RNG facility operators and site owners. -Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of software applications and dashboards. -Integrate software solutions with existing systems and platforms used by RNG facilities. -Create intuitive and interactive dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and data trends for RNG facilities. -Provide technical support and training to users, ensuring they can effectively utilize software solutions and data management tools.

What You Bring

-Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. -Experience with relational databases (PostGreSQL, MS-SQL, MySQL, etc) -Advanced SQL techniques (window functions, query optimization, deduplication, stored procedures, etc) -Knowledge of machine learning and advanced statistical methods. -Experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly in RNG. -Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Proficiency in programming languages including but not limited to: Python, JavaScript, Java and HTML. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, github, ETL or similar. -Familiarity with SCADA platforms such as Ignition, Wonderware, or FactoryTalk. -ETL tool and building data pipeline experience. -3-4 years of experience in software development, with a focus on data visualization and management.
