Direct trucks, assist operators, maintain yard safety, and handle customer service duties.

Tasks

-Assist Operators with the maintenance and care of their heavy and operational equipment. -Driving to different sites and assisting where required and needed -Proactively participate in GFL safety culture and training -General yard clean-up and maintenance of the site -Report any incidents -Direct trucks as the unload

What You Bring

-Must be able to lift 40 lbs -Comfortable working with the public -Strong ability to follow oral and written instructions properly -Computer knowledgeable -Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required -Required to have a valid driver’s license -Punctual and excellent attendance -Strong relationship and interpersonal skills -This is primarily an outside job and you must be prepared to work in inclement weather -Self-starter, motivated and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment -Excellent communication skills in oral and written English -Basic knowledge of equipment eg. wheel loader and small backhoe -Safety footwear is required
