Tasks

-Ensure proper implementation of site safety measures. -Assist the Resident Engineer in day-to-day supervision of electrical works for substations. -Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor the contractor’s work progress. -Support the Resident Engineer during final inspections, completion certification, and handover of works. -Liaise with all technical disciplines and attend Site Technical Coordination Meetings. -Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and construction-related documentation. -Ensure compliance with approved method statements, layouts, and drawings. -Witness site activities, inspections, and testing as per project requirements.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (approved by UAE regulatory authorities). -Strong technical knowledge of high-voltage substation construction and supervision. -Minimum 8 years’ experience in electrical engineering projects in the UAE, including substations. -Familiar with UAE utility and authority standards. -Detail-oriented, proactive, and safety-conscious mindset. -Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments. -Strong communication and coordination abilities. -Skilled in site supervision, contractor coordination, and review of technical submissions. -Prior experience with TRANSCO, ADDC, DEWA or other major UAE utilities will be highly preferred.
