Shop Foreman

Description

• Equipment Operation – Operate forklifts and skid steers for loading and unloading materials.
• Safety & Compliance – Ensure all equipment is operated safely and maintain compliance with company policies.
• Lot & Equipment Maintenance – Keep the shop and yard clean, maintain tools and machinery, and coordinate necessary repairs.
• Material Handling & Delivery – Offload incoming shipments, organize materials, and deliver to job sites when needed.
• Order Preparation – Pull and prepare fencing materials for crews to ensure smooth job site operations.
• Inventory Management – Keep track of materials, organize stock, and reorder supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in inventory management and shop operations
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in an outdoor environment
• Ability to operate a forklift and skid steer
• Computer & Logistics Skills – Use inventory software to track supplies and manage orders.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and ordering
