Tasks

In this role as Human Resources Coordinator, you will be part of the HR team that supports our manufacturing/production staff. You will be someone whom employees and managers turn to for guidance, connection, and support. From onboarding new hires to celebrating milestones, you will play a key role in shaping the employee experience from day one. -Coordinate and communicate employee engagement activities—planning and executing celebrations, retirements, and company events with attention to detail, teamwork, and clear communication plans that keep everyone informed and involved. -Model company values every day, serving as a champion for culture, engagement, and inclusion. -Provide HR support to all employees, with a primary focus on our production manufacturing facilities, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed. -Interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, and laws with a balanced mindset—protecting both the employee experience and the business needs. -Build genuine relationships with employees and leaders that inspire trust, confidence, and respect. -Collaborate with recruiting and plant leadership teams to understand production headcount needs. -Assist and support the details of the employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, updating HRIS and employee files, benefits administration, and leaves of absence. -Partner with leaders to address personnel issues, offering guidance that’s thoughtful, consistent, and solution-oriented. -Maintain accurate, timely HR records in our systems and handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.

What You Bring

-Strong initiative and follow through. -Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources or related field. -Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. -Possesses high integrity and sets a good example as a representative of the Human Resources team. -Must have a strong attention to detail; strives for quality work and for improvement of procedures and processes. -Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. -Creative and innovative; adept at solving problems. -Works well under pressure and maintains composure during difficult employee situations. Makes sound decisions. -Be willing to jump in and support as needed to ensure operations continue running smoothly, including scheduling and conducting interviews, updating ATS, and communicating with candidates and internal teams as needed. -Five years’ assisting Human Resources teams or working in an environment supporting employees and managers in workplace policies and procedures. -Experience recruiting entry level employees in a manufacturing setting. -Experience with FMLA administration. -Be present and approachable—listening first, then helping employees and managers navigate questions with fairness and clarity. -The ability to manage multiple priorities and frequent interruptions without losing focus or productivity; ability to meet time sensitive deadlines. -Exceptional listening skills, positive, caring, and fair attitude toward others. -Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. -Superior collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization. -Experience with HRIS software (preferably Workday and/or Paylocity) and applicant tracking software (especially iCIMS). -Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, and to work independently under general supervision. -Basic knowledge of personnel policies and procedures, employee benefits programs, and related legal compliance areas, including an understanding of labor issues and laws.
