Tasks

-Developing and implementing fleet and driver safety strategy, policies, procedures and best practices on a global scale, across the entire organization -Evaluate the current use of fleet safety technologies (including telematics and AI-driven systems) and drive the implementation of new technologies, on a standardized basis throughout the global business -Monitor companywide fleet and driver safety performance, utilizing analytics and KPIs, and regular global audits to identify gaps, corrective actions, and continuous improvement opportunities -Ensure compliance at a corporate level with transportation safety regulations, including for hazardous materials and dangerous goods transportation, DOT, FMCSA, PHMSA compliance, etc. -Investigate vehicle-related incidents and near misses within the organization, with root cause identification processes and corrective action measures that can be executed globally -Design and oversee standardized driver safety training programs on a global scale

This role requires a candidate with a blend of strategic leadership skills, technical expertise in fleet and driver safety, and the ability to influence successfully across all functions and levels in an organization, within a global and matrixed business environment. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work and influence cross-functionally, with stakeholders at all levels of a large, matrixed business -Experience of managing fleet and driver safety on a global scale would be desirable -Technical knowledge of applicable regulations such as DOT, FMCSA, PHMSA, dangerous goods, hazardous materials, etc. -Knowledge and experience of best practices in fleet telematics, driver monitoring systems, and driver safety analytics -5-8+ years of experience in fleet and driver safety management, with strong working knowledge of transportation safety regulations, compliance standards and risk management -Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Safety, Hazardous Materials management or a related field of study, is required

Benefits

$130,000 - $190,000 plus bonus, LTIs, benefits package
