Projects Engineer

Overview

Oversee GIS installation, commissioning, and compliance for high‑voltage projects.

Tasks

-Supervise and coordinate the loop check activities and Participation at site meetings as requested by the PG-CH Project Manager. -The GIS-Supervisor is responsible for the installation & commissioning work entrusted to him being carried out in perfect technical order. -Responsible for the competence execution of his tasks. -Supervise final installation & commissioning tests and PG installation completion documentation. -Issue of non-conformance reports for damage or missing equipment within PG scope of supply in cooperation with PG Project Manager. -He is responsible for ensuring compliance with the installation requirements and Instructions &ensures that the necessary accident prevention measures are observed; specifically, he abides by the guidelines for work on live system components. -He carries out installation and maintenance work independently. -Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. -Inspection of arriving material for completeness and possible damage and coordination of material handling in cooperation with sub-suppliers Material Control within sub-suppliers' procedures. -Advice the sub-supplier's installation superintendent in planning and coordination of the work force necessary to comply with the schedule. -Cooperation with PG Project Manager on establishing status of completed and non-completed work. -Shall be responsible to red-mark drawings/documents with any changes or modification that became necessary during the installation.

What You Bring

-Previous experience with SF6 GAS-Handling and PGHV Transmission & Sub transmission GIS Product knowledge preferred. -Having capability use MS project professionally. -Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required. -A bachelor’s degree or diploma in relevant field is required. -Minimum 2- 5 years of experience with GIS is preferred.
