Production Supervisor 2nd shift

Overview

Oversees swing‑shift receiving, shipping, inventory, safety, vendor, and staff management.

Tasks

-Achieves Branch Financial Objectives by minimizing costs, O/T, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and installing ‘financial checks and balances’. -Recruits, orients, plans, and trains staff as well as monitors employee performance. -Interacts with various customers, vendors, and service providers in the best interest of the company. -Controls Scrap, Inventory Levels and accuracy by overseeing physical ‘cycle counts’ and reconciling with perpetual Inventory records. -Maintains warehouse & logistics operations, equipment, capacities and capabilities by Production Planning and Measurement, routine inspection and repair of in-house machinery and equipment, and the regular review of warehouse layout and throughput. -Maintains receiving, shipping, Inventory Control and Production Work Cells by installing, coordinating, and enforcing departmental programs and Operational Work Instructions and procedures. -Assures Sales Orders are issued, picked, processed, shipped and invoiced in a timely fashion. -Develops Vendor Evaluation criteria and regularly reviews Vendors for adherence.

What You Bring

-Solid Computer, MS OFFICE Skills are a must. -Strong Organization skills, and follow up skills are very practical. -A College Degree is preferred. -MSDS experience is a plus. -Excellent Verbal communication skills are a must. -Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years Equivalent Work experience in a Service Center with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity. -Experience in Budget development and management is a plus.
