Utilities Agent

Overview

Lead utility package delivery, coordinating permits, inspections, and subcontractors.

Tasks

-Work with the Engineering team to feed into the design requirements. -Manage all utilities interfaces, including client, third parties and all internal delivery teams. -Ensure surveys meet PAS128 quality levels; verify records and ensure that all information is captured and maintained within the live utility register. -Ensure the work complies with all permits/agreements with asset owners and local highway authorities. -Manage subcontractors’ RAMS, ITPs and records; maintain daily diaries, progress updates and change notes. Ensure that all persons, plant, equipment and materials are in accordance with the project specifications. -Enforce HSG47 and Permit-to-Dig: planning, locating/identifying services, and safe excavation methods. -Act as principal site contact with asset owners and highways authorities; ensure subcontractors comply with NRSWA/HAUC processes. -Work with the consents team to ensure that all the Planning obligations have been discharged prior to commencement and are continually met throughout the delivery. -Deliver the works in line with the budget to build. Support with the development of forecasts, and work with the commercial team to provide accurate cost monitoring.

What You Bring

-Strong health and safety culture. -Utilities delivery/agent experience on civil projects. -First Aid at Work. -SMSTS or SSSTS. -Experienced in managing teams, and managing subcontractors. -Package management experience. -Experience with cost monitoring and cost control, alongside risk management and change control. -Strong stakeholder skills and a meticulous approach to records and assurance. -Experience in working with utilities. -EUSR accreditation.
