HSE Engineer

Overview

Oversee health, safety and environmental compliance on a 400kV substation EPC project in the UAE.

Tasks

-Supervise compliance with permit-to-work systems, lockout/tagout procedures, and confined space protocols -Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, recommending corrective actions -Maintain accurate records of HSE audits, training sessions, and incident logs -Conduct daily site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks to ensure safe work practices -Ensure proper use of PPE, emergency equipment, and first aid resources -Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and site management to enforce safety standards -Promote a culture of safety awareness, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement -Implement and monitor the project-specific HSE plan in alignment with client and regulatory requirements
