Tasks

Reporting to the General Manager - Higgins, this role is responsible for leading the Hawkes Bay region to ensure sustainable, profitable growth while contributing to the wider success of Higgins. You’ll oversee and lead a regional contracting business with full accountability for safety, people, plant, resources, finance, and commercial performance. -Strengthen delivery across the region -Develop and implement operational plans -Drive efficiencies that enhance profitability and customer relationships

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include a tertiary degree in civil engineering or business. -Demonstrated success in running a commercial business, including full P&L accountability -A strong track record in senior regional leadership within the civil/roading sector -A knack for resolving complex issues that impact project or operational performance -Proven ability to win work, prepare competitive and profitable tenders, and build long-term relationships with senior-level clients, partners, and suppliers -10+ years’ experience in roading or civil engineering
