Tasks
-Provide technical support to conceptual engineering teams, project management teams and ET Field Organization throughout the course of capital projects. -Participate in trade and industry organizations. -Provide technical support to newer engineers on the team. -Provide technical assistance to various engineering and field teams to fully develop the protection and control design package. -Participate in various company teams and industry-level organizations to enhance ET's system protection performance. -Support team with settings peer review activities. -Under the guidance of experienced team members, provide technical assistance to various engineering and field teams to fully develop the protection and control design package. -Develop protective relay settings for SPE Distribution protection schemes inside the substation. -Provide advanced technical support to conceptual engineering teams, project management teams and ET Field Organization throughout the course of capital projects. -Support team with settingS peer review activities. -Participate in trade and industry organizations and benchmarking activities. -Provide support to SPE's Engineer Training program. -Participate in various company teams and industry level organizations to enhance ET's system protection performance. -Continue to learn and provide newer engineers on the team with guidance on applying protection philosophy and application to real-world scenarios. -Continue to learn and apply protection philosophy and application to real-world scenarios. -Learn and apply basic protection philosophy and applications to real-world scenarios. -Develop protective relay settings for System Protection Engineering (SPE) Distribution protection schemes inside the substation.

What You Bring
-Programming skills for automation of system studies (e.g., Python, .NET, C#, etc.) is a plus. -Ability to interpret codes, regulations, and practices. -Strong time management skills with the ability to independently plan and organize work assignments. -Understanding of the principles of transmission and/or distribution relay protection a plus. -Equally effective with working independently or in a team environment. -Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems. -Staff Engineer: 8+ years of relevant engineering experience -Experience with short circuit modeling software preferred. -Sr. Engineer: 5+ years of relevant engineering experience -Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing. -Engineer: 2+ years of engineering experience -Understanding of IEC 61850 communication protocol for intelligent substation protection is a plus. -Experience with SAP work management systems is a plus. -Associate Engineer: 0-2 years of engineering experience -Understanding of AC/DC fundamentals, including three-phase power systems.
