Tasks

-Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior PM or Division Manager. -Liaison with primary client and A/E to facilitate construction activities -May train and provide direction to Project Assistant and/or Project Manager I in maintaining project-required tracking devices. -Anticipate, prevent, and resolve potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines. -Represent the company in project meetings. -Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager. -Participates in the supervision and training of Project Assistants and/or Project Manager I. -Prioritize and manage multiple asks, changing priorities as necessary -May assist with the development of new business opportunities. -Negotiate the terms and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project. -Manage the financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interest, and maintain a good relationship with the client. -Direct the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client. Negotiate all change quotations to a successful conclusion. -Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within guidelines of corporate policies. -Under the direction of Project Manager III and/or Sr. Project Manager, support construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is being built on schedule and within budget.

-Up to 25% -Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures -Minimum 5years of experience in a project management role -Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude -Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook,Word,Excel,etc.);Oracle -Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others -Effective performance management -Oral and written communication skills as required for the -Self-motivated,proactive, and an effective team player -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or other related discipline preferred
