Tasks

-The co-ordination, management, and development of Cumming Group Staff -Always represent the company in a professional and confident manner -Ensure staff are aware of, and are delivering, their responsibilities -Office management – take responsibility for the day-to-day practical and office management aspects of the office -Ensure clients always receive an exemplary level of service and performance from yourself and the Cumming Group team -Management and delivery of Cumming Group commissions – fee earning projects -Support Cumming Group to meet, and preferably exceed, financial targets of the business -Support, develop and improve the professional and interpersonal skills of the Cumming Group team -Client management – with the support of the directors assume responsibility for the management, liaison and servicing of clients -Operational delivery – ensure the successful delivery of contracts you and your responsible staff are dealing with, in a timely manner and to the highest standards -Be able to make informed decisions for the benefit of our clients and the business -Compliance/Ethics - ensure that Cumming Group company standards are adhered to on all works undertaken -Business development – Deliver organic growth with existing clients. With the support of the directors Identify and source new opportunities and clients to support the ongoing growth of the business

What You Bring

The ability to – Required to be an experienced QS, knowledgeable, adaptable and able to provide the full range of QS services. -Social Housing and Contractor QS experience (Essential) -Able to manage and coordinate a team of Quantity Surveyors -Commercially astute and numerate -Energetic, self-motivated and able to take a flexible and adaptable approach -Demonstrable leadership and motivational qualities -Able to produce both summarised and detailed reports -Commercial negotiation skills -Possess clear and concise communication skills – written and spoken
